Same ads. A new site. Around £50k of enquiries.

Aaron was paying for ads that worked and landing them on a website that didn’t. We rebuilt it around his buyers – what he does, what it costs, why him – and the same ad spend started producing around £50k of enquiries.

Where he was

Aaron was spending real money on ads, and the ads were doing their job. People were clicking. Then they landed on a DIY site he’d knocked together on GoDaddy. It looked the part of a bloke cleaning ovens out of a van, not a business you’d trust in your kitchen, and it had none of the information a buyer needs to actually choose an oven cleaner: what he does, what it costs, why him.

What we found

This is the bit most web designers skip. Before designing anything, we looked at where the business was actually losing work. Traffic wasn’t the problem – the ads were bringing people in. Selling wasn’t the problem – Aaron closes when he gets to talk to someone. The leak was in between: visitors weren’t becoming enquiries. He was paying to fill a bucket with a hole in it.

What we changed

A site that looks like the business he actually runs.

Built around his rebrand, so the first impression matches the standard of the work.

Messaging about the customer, not the business.

The site answers the questions a buyer is asking, in the order they ask them.

A price in seconds.

The single biggest reason people didn’t enquire was not knowing the cost. A self-serve pricing calculator removed the friction entirely.
