£90k of quote enquiries in the first two months.

An engineering firm with a £2.5m reputation and a brochure site that talked about machines instead of buyers. We rebuilt it around the buyer’s decision – their job, their spec, their questions – and tracked around £90k of quote enquiries in the first two months.

Where they were

A very old brochure site that talked entirely about Kenworth: their machines, their history, them. Nothing about the buyer. An engineering buyer with a job to spec couldn’t find the information they needed to make a decision, and when they did want to enquire, the site made it hard work. Marketing was happening; nobody could say what any of it was producing.

What we found

Kenworth’s reputation was bringing people to the site – attention was never the problem. The leak was what happened next: visitors couldn’t turn themselves into enquiries. No buyer-focused answers, no easy route to a quote, no tracking to show what was working. A £2.5m business with its front door painted shut.

What we changed

A message aimed at the buyer, not the machines.

The buyer is the hero of the story; the site is positioned around their job, their spec, their decision.

A quote request in seconds.

The enquiry route stripped down to the minimum a busy engineer will tolerate.

A learning hub that does the explaining.

Buyers decide before they call. The hub answers the questions that used to go unanswered (or cost a phone call nobody made).

Tracking on everything.

Every enquiry attributed, so for the first time they could see what their marketing was doing.

The pattern

Two different businesses, same story: money and effort going into marketing, and a website quietly wasting it. The attention arrives, the enquiries don’t, and nobody can see the leak because nobody’s measuring it.

That’s the work: find where your website’s leaking first, then build the site that turns the attention you’re already earning into enquiries – and hand you the controls.
